To know what passing is...

Passing is giving up something,

For someone else to get;

Even if it’s someone you just met.

Passing is someone going in front or ahead,

Sometimes this way can be mislead.

Passing is making the grade,

So your diploma can be made.

Someone looking more peaceful day by day;

Where all they can do is sleep and lay;

You know is passing... away.

To know what peaceful is...

Peaceful is the sun that rises;

Every morning to start every day.

Peaceful is being quiet and courteous;

To everyone in every way.

Seeing fog come to a rise;

That is said to be a surprise...

Is peaceful.

Loving you and loving me;

Everyone joyful and filled with glee...

Is peaceful.

Having no sorrow, and no pain;

And no worries, with no strain...

Is peaceful.

The bright moon shining,

And the stars shown in mass;

When the sun set,

And let the day pass...

That is peaceful.
