Party Animal
Instructions for disappearing
Don’t make me go out tonight
But thank you for the invite
I’ll stay at home in bed
My social battery’s dead
Ugh, okay, fine, alright!
*********************
Now I’m here against my will
Wow, these people have no chill
In the back I can hide
While I’m waiting for my ride
Did I forget my pill?
**********************
At this party I might die
Because I’m terribly shy
You don’t want me heaving
One more drink and I’m leaving
With an Irish goodbye
**********************
If you liked these limericks you might enjoy these too.

Ha ha, even a party animal needs rest. These days I only wish I was invited.
Oh to be an introvert! Nicely done Leslie!
Interesting take on the challenge. I had to look up “Irish Goodbye “.🤔😊
Very clever, Leslie! You have captured perfectly my sentiments on going to a party. I love that you conclude it with an Irish Goodbye. 😂 Perfect!
Hahahaha! And, a most appropriate goodbye it is. Nice one, Leslie!
Irish goodbye. I like that. This poem is like an introvert anthem. Me being an introvert myself. We don't like to go to places against our will. This whole poem flowed very nicely. 🤗❤️
Hahahahahahahaha this was funnyyyyyy!
This is me...and I'm not even Irish.
I love the humor 🤣 nice !!!!
