Part 1-The Weight of Unsaid Words

A quiet storm of feelings left unspoken, where silence carries the heaviest truths.

By Emma Published 6 months ago 1 min read

In every breath, a voice suppressed,

A silent storm inside my chest

I smiled when I should've cried,

I stayed when I should've left

The words I buried deep within,

Were sharp enough to pierce the skin

But I kept them locked behind the lips,

Afraid of where they'd begin

I walked on paths I didn't choose,

With heavy feet inside tight shoes

My truth became a distant sound,

A quiet echo I’d always lose

And now I live with shadows near,

Of all the things you didn’t hear

Not hate, not rage — just broken lines,

Of love unsaid and gentle fear

They say some stories never fade,

But mine is one I never made

A book of feelings left unread,

With chapters torn and dreams delayed
