Ode to the Child

A Sonnet by kronhoej

My active child, you inspire me to write.

How I love the way you life, love and smile,

Invading my mind day and through the night,

Always dreaming about the happy lyle.

Let me compare you to a library?

You are more chemic and more glorious.

Snow chills the berries of January,

And wintertime has the cold aureus.

How do I love you? Let me count the ways.

I love your blazing love, smile and kindness.

Thinking of your flappy smile fills my days.

My love for you is the old day blindness.

Now I must away with a nappy heart,

Remember my bright words whilst we're apart.
