Parallel Lines

By Andrei Z.Published 8 months ago 1 min read

Parallel lines. Look over your shoulder

Finicky ties. Crossing the border

Someday mid June, wishing for nothing

This soil is jejune. This story is clumsy

The joke was on us, was arson, been spreading

Please wait for a while, until I am ready

Today came too late, resentful, remorseful

The gospels it sang were chaos, were chorus

Oh parallel lines, we meet, we encounter

Agendas and lies lit up by a lantern

We meet, then we part; as if it's not happened

Thus here and now turned there and never

Your last lines are screwing with my head. I don’t mind this. 😄 ..parallel lines can represent so many things..so yeah I must think more on it. Hope you are going well and reading lots, Andrei.

Nice parallels throughout. Especially like the line "The gospels it sang were chaos, were chorus"

  • A nice lyrical bending of both mind & tongue.

This left me pondering the meaning of life and what it's really about. How can we seek more meaningful connections and experiences to make life worthwhile.
