Paper Wings
A boy folds paper cranes with wishes, only to see them come alive and fly
By Akmal95JrPublished about a month ago • 1 min read

He folded paper cranes daily,
whispering tiny wishes
into each delicate fold.
His room filled with colours,
floating hopes stacked gently
on dusty shelves.
One morning, the cranes vanished,
leaving only soft breezes
fluttering the curtains.
Panicked, he rushed outside
and saw them soaring
through the pale sunrise.
They carried his wishes
higher than he ever imagined,
reminding him that possibilities
can take flight
when courage finally lets go.
