Pandora's Schrödinger

Paradox in a little box.

What's in the box?

Why was it delivered and dropped off?

Why is it not securely locked?

Can one's curiosity be purely stopped?

***

If You open it up, what's in store?

Is there some ancient treasure or magical lore?

Will Your life be the same as before?

Will You always be tempted to want even more?

***

Have we not learned from the lesson from Pandora?

Will it lead us to destruction from depravity like Gomorrah?

Of mysteries, why does the imagination make a plethora?

Could it be horror or beauty like the borealis of aurora?

***

Is it truly safe to let something like this linger?

Would You still dare to pry its folds open with Your fingers?

Will the trouble send You through the wringer?

Will the possibilities remain unknown just like Schrödinger?
