Author’s Note:

In this poem, we journey through the complexities of Pablo Escobar—exploring the good, the evil, and the devil that shaped his legacy.

He built empires, touched the sky,

A king in a world of shadows, high.

With wealth to rival kings of old,

He gave, he took, both fierce and bold.

For some, he was a savior true,

Building homes, with skies so blue.

But in his wake, the blood did spill,

A reign of terror, a deadly thrill.

A devil clothed in suits of gold,

A life of power, both bought and sold.

The good he did, now lost in time,

Weighed down by deeds so dark, so crime.

Pablo Escobar, the world still fears,

The man who shaped a thousand years.

A hero’s heart, a villain’s soul,

A good, evil devil—out of control.
