Uncommon is the site of fatherhood a new. Especially when the world says spared are few.
To bring yourself out of the darkness of something that is so deep.
In a world where you could hardly see past your weep.
To go unrecognized in every mirror.
To keep your beloved in a state of fear.
So sleepless and restless, uneasy at its best.
Every day seemed unfair, it always seemed like a test.
Unknown to even yourself that you can overcome this war…
To strive and work and be so softened to your core.
Humbled to be seen. Blessed to be alive.
Breaking down the walls that once kept you so dissatisfied.
Graceful to opinions and forgiving of yourself. Putting all the worries on the back part of the shelf.
Becoming new to the world, and life as one should see it.
It’s rare to be the keeper of your keeps when that thing kept you so hidden.
Rarity is cleansing. It’s sober for your soul. Not many make it out and get their stories told.
It’s your master no longer, you are not a slave. Only you could do this… to fight so hard to be saved.
Being rare to something so common is a true and courageous honor. To be so freed from something that almost took you under.
An armor molded to you, humility helps you pull it. Protection made so fiercely strong, to catch the judgement coated bullets.
Proud as ever, is what you should be.
Never forgetting how rare you are to this world and to me.
Until death do us part, as ours vows say.
Our struggles are among us, but calm they will lay.
Poorly influenced voices overwhelmed you, influenced you so strongly. You never realized how such a thing could make you feel so lonely.
Now you have your own voice, your thoughts are yours alone. This thing no longer has a hold of you, you are finally home.
You get to wake up every morning, along side us, and no day goes to waste now, it’s a new 24 hours you can trust.
The morning coffee tastes richer, your routine is at a better pace. You see yourself passing by to finally recognize your face.

Hello world!
I'm just a momma and a wife wanting to spread joy where it is needed the most. My hope is to lighten the heaviness of life with a few of my thoughts, and provide peace in the darkest of seasons for one, or for many.
Enjoy.
