The clock goes tick tock on the walls
The stars change alignment each day at sunfall
All reminders of the passage of time
That never goes back, though it leaves behind
Memories of what’s forever lost to the past
Relationships broken and eternally outcast
Material and immaterial things which have went
To another place, a certain fate to cement
Sometimes, one must race against the hours
As pendulums swing and prospects look dour
When situations change and deadlines come close
One’s destiny could lie on how a factor grows old
But the motion of chronology isn’t all gloom
Without it, horrid events would always stay doomed
Some things get better and others get worse
Without temporal shifts, we’d all be cursed.

Time is a powerful force, isn't it? It changes everything, whether we like it or not. I've seen relationships fall apart because of it. But it also brings new opportunities. How do you think we can make the most of the time that passes? I like how you mention that not all of time's motion is gloomy. It's true. Without those changes, we'd be stuck in a never-ending loop of bad stuff. What examples can you think of where time has actually been a positive factor in your life?
