Our Souls Are Restless

Holding onto endless stories

By Tracy ToccaraPublished 5 years ago Updated 2 years ago 1 min read

Our souls are restless, with stories untold,

Of bizarre scenarios, both new and old.

A single being, living life's grand play,

Creating scenarios, soul-deep, they stay.

Some scenarios dismissive of nature's call,

Others cut so deep, they make us fall.

Crying out for strength, rediscovered anew,

As internal walls crumble, once strong and true.

Debris accumulates, beneath our feet it lies,

Like rain from storm pours, creating puddles that rise.

Some deep and dark, their depths hard to see,

We stand soulless, not true to who we should be.

Soul seeking and searching, we seek,

To rid ourselves of restlessness, so bleak.

So that the you within your heart can find,

The light of your soul, leaving darkness behind.
