our planet

as a population

we have somehow destroyed our planet

constantly thinking the bigger the better

i wish we could go back to when life was so much more simpler

how did we all become so greedy?

this planet we have treated so poorly

we are killing the world whilst killing ourselves

our selfish acts will be the death of us

our kids, kids will be the ones who suffer

killing our world who was supposed to be our lover

this our only chance we will never have another

it we could act now we could save it

but no one is ready to talk about that
