Our Meeting, By Chance

Fate Has a Way

Then I met you

My world has never been more clear

Joy has replaced the fear

Overwhelmed with possibilities

Spinning out, where you left me

I have a hard time letting go

Something I want you to know

Summertime strawberries, picked so sweet

Worth the burns I got out in the heat

Round and round in circles, will we ever land?

The difference you make, too great to understand

Did we deserve this?

Will it all have been worth it?

When I walk away

I wrote this piece for the inverse challenge. It is intended to be read from top to bottom, as well as in reverse from bottom to top.

Wow, this poem was short but nothing short of a rollercoaster of emotions!
