I saw something in the woods today some movement caught my eye The sun cascaded through the leaves casting shadows from the sky It danced and spun in circles nearly made its getaway Feeling I was immortal caught up in its flow and sway It called to me, upon the breeze it seemed to know my name It echoed through the dappled trees inviting me to play a game Familiar somehow, was it’s voice needing no interpretation Leaving me with no other choice but answer, my imagination It had been some time since I’d heard it I thought it was lost, long ago But hearing it now, makes me feel complete please excuse me…..I really must go
