Our Inner Sanctuary

Poem

By Cristiano Da SilvaPublished 4 years ago 3 min read

Our Inner Sanctuary

We enter by boat,

majestic waters all around.

Through a magical portal,

we arrive at the campground.

It’s the beginning of something beautiful,

magic surrounds all above and under.

Breathtaking, unfathomable, spiritual,

healing, awe and wonder…

After we dock,

We made sure our luggage was in order.

While being greeted by a dog

conveniently named Porter.

We settled into our cabins,

All our wishes were granted

As if by the genie

Who was freed by Aladdin.

Activate our inner child

& manifest what we believe.

Finding our superpowers

& psychic abilities.

Transferring energies

Through channels & frequencies,

We find our inner child

to heal and make peace.

In the Rhythmic Resonance

We witnessed Nikola Tesla’s invention.

We lit up a light bulb

With no physical intervention.

Energies and electricity

Conducted through the air we breathe.

Carried by vibrations

Like the words we speak.

The ultimate therapy.

In breathwork, we breathe deep.

Healing pent-up energies

and even P.T.S.D.

Around the campfire, the embers intrigue

We gather around to hear the Indigenous elder speak

& teach us how to honour the true spirit of peace

And acknowledge the real history we seek.

Followed by campfire songs and poetry,

Tapping into our inner child’s curiosity.

Under the sea of stars…

OMG the stars I see!

The shine reflecting into each other’s eyes

With hands on each other’s shoulders.

While connecting to the rhymes

long after it’s over.

I never respected the process this much.

I started to gain a new appeal.

A deep connection to the cacao we love

& to those who harvest & make the meals.

Wim Hof Ice Plunge into an altered state.

Nature’s kiss that made… my lips shake.

While anti-inflammatory markers stay

in my body for at least 6 days!

Into the water, we’re jumping off the tower.

Party on the beach for the next couple of hours.

Then we split into teams,

& battle with coloured powder.

Voice alchemy

and poetry.

Each voice

is so unique.

Like a sonic fingerprint.

We never use the same ingredients.

Always new discoveries

and unlocking new frequencies.

The whole weekend I would repeat

“that was so deep”.

She told me

That, that was just me

Because… what was projected

Is just… what was reflected

By that which I see.

Damn, that too was so deep.

Time for our group photo.

Everyone in costumes says cheese.

I was dressed as Super Mario

reaching for the stars I’d see.

If your curiosity

led you to open the box.

I revealed your inner light to see,

In case you thought you were lost.

Now we’re off!

Silent disco party paradox.

Before the after-party after the after-party

While the bonfire kept us hot.

How do we know that Van Gogh's stars were starry?

None of them can stop the time

But somehow we did each night.

One love! We shout out to Bob Marley!

New styles of breathwork, my palms were shaking & vibrating.

Hyperventilating, then holding my breath and waiting.

Evoking the soul

in the magic that we were creating.

Counting the synchronicities is exotic.

Like the endless ripples in the water, it’s hypnotic.

I am hoping we keep this channel to peace

So we all can access it often.

Did you ever stop

and wonder, what did we just do?

We sang songs with a gong,

Guitars, maracas and even a didgeridoo.

Can we even fathom how the music helped

Those lonely, in sickness we suffer.

What was your gift from your future self?

Unknowingly we gifted each other.

The truth heals when upheld

nature’s course in the camp named Tamakwa

With more appeal felt

than the Supreme court of Canada in Ottawa.

People had to touch those

who most resonated with the phrases said out loud.

While keeping the eyes closed,

We were touched all around.

Unknown chemistries

meant to be from the start,

But the biggest mystery

Is all of your imprints on my heart.

Rather than say goodbye

I say… until the next time.

My inner child smiles

While he awaits… your inner child.
