“Our Eyes”

Are my eyes black or white,

I like to think they are hazel brown.

A little green, somedays brown, and

yellow all around.

Are your eyes white or black, are

they yellow, blue, hazel,

maybe brown.

I like to think of hers as chocolate brown,

Smooth like marble, the kind that melt,

me from the inside out.

What do you see in mine, are our eyes

black or white?
