Idols are beautiful, aren't they?
Golden calves or metal towers, praise raised.
Captivating and awestruck with mouths agape.
All around the world they come ready to admire and appreciate the man made craft.
Regaining composure and delighting in warm feelings of romance.
Symphony starts deep within soul's solitude.
Superman stance through various decades,
metal arms and legs never growing weary.
Hundreds of eyes becoming teary at the sight.
Symbol of national pride and allegiance.
Was all worth the trip to see?
