My Dearest Greggory,
While I was strolling on the beach one night, reflecting on my path,
I pondered this existence, and why you had to pass.
As my eyes were lifted, to glean an answer from the stars,
I thought I heard you whisper, gently calling from afar.
"Is that you, Love?" I inquired, as I scanned the sultry sky.
"Life has been so lonely since the day you said 'goodbye.'"
As I was lamenting this, the surf began to pound.
I was overcome by a tidal wave, building stronger, with resound.
I fell down on my knees, sobbing, feeling empty to the core.
I looked again to the heavens, to ask of you once more.
But then I saw a little twinkle; your answer, it caught my tearful eye.
In one star of the three, I noticed, shining brighter than the rest,
It was you Love, I just knew it, you loaned your brightest light,
The three make up a belt, Orion's I have heard.
A belt that serves to bind us, and I took it as a sign,
That you'll be waiting for me, in the starry sky,
Shining so very brightly, to light the darkest night.
So here I will be waiting, until my time to shine,
Until the day I join you, in the future, by and by.
My Deepest Love Always, and Until We Meet Again,
Forever Yours,
Ruth

Life is friction and friction creates fire. What happens in our lives is the result of combustion. For that reason, we generate passion for things that impact our lives. Writing, art, and music are the fruits of that friction. Enjoy life!
