Original Sin

A Poem

As the beginning was the start of the end

Only time passing will ever comprehend

The middle being time well spent

The start an intention hell-bent

Actualised and manifested

Life lived pre-infected

Self vandalism perfected

Fate; a pass time deselected

Freedom from temptation;

Pursuit of sensation;

Blame during contemplation

A hedonistic vocation

The past to blame

For a future insane

It started when it came

Fate stays the same

An unspoken destiny

Weaving its way quietly

Though life is wildly

Unpredictably charming

Blind to intention

Deaf to inception

Dumb under inspection

Conducted resurrection

Destiny fate’s eager companion

Blinded by the positive contagion

Destiny controlled like a mannequin

To fate’s original sin

Restoration a place from within

Commit the crime, commit to begin

Can’t turn back the clock on sin

Live with it, you’ll live again
