Opportunistic Love

In fleeting moments, eyes collide,
A glance, a chance we cannot hide.
Through windows of time, it slips, it shows,
Where opportunistic love quietly grows.

Not bound by plans or careful schemes,
It dances lightly on fleeting dreams.
When fate aligns, we grasp, we hold,
For love like this is quick, yet bold.

It finds a way in stolen hours,
Like sunlight bursts in sudden showers.
No promises, just hearts on fire,
Rising with each new desire.

But when the winds of chance do shift,
And tides of life begin to lift,
Opportunistic love may fade,
A fleeting warmth, like summer’s shade.

Yet in those sparks, we lived, we knew,
A love so brief, yet thrilling too.
For even if it cannot stay,
Its flame was bright along the way.
