Thoughts of a lovesick poet. the poem is a double sided poem. Read it the normal way then read the lines backwards from bottom to top. How you choose to read is the end result of the poem/story

…Waking to a Nightmare of it falling ….

In the eye of the storm, our love resides,

A silent fury where the tempest hides.

Winds of passion tear through the night,

Unveiling our hearts in the lightning’s light.

Lightning flashes, not of anger but clarity,

Revealing truths in the shadow's rarity.

Our souls, like trees, bend and creak,

Yet stand firm when the storm is bleak.

The rain falls, a relentless symphony,

Each drop a testament to our harmony.

In the chaos, we find a strange serenity,

A calm within the storm, where love finds infinity.

The thunder's roar, a lover's plea,

Echoes through the night, wild and free.

In the darkness, we find our way,

Guided by the storm's display.

Our love, a tempest fierce and grand,

Carves its path through sea and land.

With every gust, our spirits soar,

Bound together forevermore.

Through the storm's relentless might,

We hold on tight, with all our might.

For in the chaos, we clearly see,

Our love's true strength, its destiny.

…I find my peace and solitude…

Regardless of the outcome, the poem is timeless. What a wordsmith, what a poet 👌
