Open Mic Night at the Grievance Bar

[Verse]
He grabbed the mic like a torch in the dark
Telling tales of betrayal and a broken heart
But the room stayed still
Not a soul clapped along
He sang every failure like it wasn’t his song
[Chorus]
Open mic night at the grievances bar
Where the spotlight burns but won’t heal the scar
He cries out loud
"It’s not my fault
You see"
But the mirror’s laughing quietly
[Verse 2]
He built a stage from the wrecks of his pride
Stacked every grudge in a pyramid high
The crowd sipped slow
Their eyes on the floor
They’d heard it before
They’d heard it before
[Prechorus]
He beats his chest like a drum in the night
Echoes bounce but never feel right
[Chorus]
Open mic night at the grievances bar
Where excuses fall like a shooting star
The words don’t land
They float and flee
While the mirror keeps laughing quietly
[Bridge]
Spotlight flickers
It’s dim and it’s cold
The tales grow tired
The stories get old
He blames the world
But the cracks in the glass
Whisper his name as the moments pass
