first moment on earth .....

wrapped in my nursing blanket so tight in my mothers arms safety, was all i felt to know this person holding me would love me for whatever becomes of me;

brought to a place she built with her love sweat, bare handed tears and unconditional gentleness oh how it would be great to see through the eyes what she seen;

you can tell that she was under pressure by the way she slept and walked around thinking to herself that things just were not quiet right for her family to come;

strong black queen held her head high and she took every challenge with a win not letting anything stop her from day one;

this women who i call mom raised me as best she can, teaching me her lessons what's right and what's wrong passing to me the knowledge from her mother that she had learned;

while a foundation was being built before me, that one day if i can get it as the teachings were giving i have for passing all the knowledge when it was my turn;

all i knew was this women and these walls that we lived in and all she cared about was me, walking then running standing on my own two feet;

inside our home we loved laugh and we lived together the closer we got the more home became complete;

yes the love was around us in every room and happiness was something we became so used to that an addition to the family was joy we knew that was not an issue;

so one came then years later another and i was the oldest so we all had parts to play and in our home there was love on a day to day;

so family to me was my will to live and my mothers as well so li sister and brother had to learn that through God we obey;

God was the key to all of our victories and a answer to every prayer so home was full of blessing that we always would share.
