Upon the morning dew I breathe

Your sensuous heat still searing

Without intention or reprieve

Your touch evermore endearing

You fill my every breath anew

Seeking your eyes in fervid desire

Learning to whisper, “I love you”.

Juxtaposed unity, to aspire

Only you,

Exhaled essence, to bring you in.

A flickering touch; electric tingle

Unquenched desires to return again.

Souls bound to intermingle.

Only you,

Deep within your hazel wells

You elevate me from my weakness

Catching me with your tempting spells,

Tearing asunder all obliqueness

Only you,

Desiring to wrap inside your arms

Sheltered now from my past

I submit to all of your charms,

In your charge, at last.

Only you,

Relenting to your softest touch

My vulnerability on display

To your soul, I must clutch

Forced from my lips to pray

Only you,

Displayed affection intertwines

The world goes dark outside

Celestial dust now combines

Leaving nowhere else to hide

Only you,

Breaking chains, nostalgia gone

Expended from lost control

Spiritual phenomenon

Momentarily both whole.

Only you,

Seeking further articulation

Upon new sunsets swelling

Embracing further anticipation

Pain gone upon your quelling

Only you,

Lavender twilight binds all yearning

Sacrament unto each other,

New crevices, continue learning

Eternal is thy lover
