Witness the Harvest

Witness The Harvest
Verse 1
Ego waits at the edge of the land,
Wanting proof it can hold in its hand.
Watching seeds that were never its own,
Needing signs that the truth has been shown.
But the divine moves quiet and slow,
Working deep where the roots never show.
Chorus
Ego wants to witness the harvest grow,
Wants the praise and the proof and the afterglow.
But the divine doesn’t rise just to be believed,
It asks for surrender to what’s unseen.
Let the field be the field, let the truth be the truth,
Let the harvest belong to a higher roof.
Verse 2
Ego listens for echoes of fame,
Straining hard just to hear its own name.
Counting hearts it imagines it stirred,
Needing credit for every word.
But the divine sends the message on,
Where it lands is a place you’re not drawn.
Bridge
Let go of the hunger to measure the ground,
Let go of the ache for a visible sound.
The truth doesn’t bloom for applause or acclaim,
It moves in the quiet without your name.
Final Chorus
Ego wants to witness the harvest grow,
But the divine says release what you cannot know.
It isn’t about being right or being seen,
It’s about trusting the work in the in‑between.
Let the field be the field, let the truth be the truth,
Let the harvest belong to a higher roof.
