Layers around these eyes
peeling out
one at a time
turning into heavy spheres
they hurt, they go
she wonders at times
Were they even mine ?
these eyes witnessed her fading in pain
for her to heal ,her eyes thickened within
Then it was time
she was ready
they hurt, they go

peeling out

weighless
languageless
They hurt
They sting
as she let them go
