One Thing Left

A poem

One Thing Left

If I had only one thing left to do

on Earth, I'd lay in the grass

one more time,

with my eyes to the sky

admiring every cosmic glimmer

and every single tiny speck

of stardust above

I think if I only had

one thing left to see,

I'd want it to be the night sky.

Such a serene and reflective piece! The idea of focusing on something so beautiful and timeless as the night sky feels like a perfect last act. It’s gentle, yet powerful, in its simplicity.
