As I sit with him each day
I can only think and pray
that soon one day
I will only be yours one day.
I hate being from you away.
All I can say
is with you I want to stay
and be with everyday.
I hate that things have to be this way.
I just wish it wasn't this way.
That I have to stay away
From the one with who I want to stay.
I can only sit and pray
and think about you everyday.
I love you in every way.
I weep over you everyday.
I need to just get away
from this man I'm doomed with to stay.
I just wish it wasn't this way.
I just want to get away.
I sit awake at night and to you I plan my way.
Sometimes planning until the next day
how I'm going to run away.
