Every day I think

About how I’m going to do it

However, nothing comes to mind

-

Dancing around a world

Blindly and bumping

Into sharp situations

-

Cutting away

At my glee

Carving a bland smile

-

Life a sharpened knife

Leaving me

Smiles for scars

-

In the end

The only strategy I have

Is to wait

-

To wait for that one day

Any day or someday

Somehow I will need

-

Until then, I will wait

For you to come

To me

-

Somehow I know

That one day

Will come

-

One day

Runs through my mind

Imagining the delight

-

Until then

I need to figure out

How to wait

-

What to do

How to get by

Devise a plan

-

To overcome

This agony

Of waiting

-

The time

Like daggers

Rip at anxiety

-

However, I will

Do it

Wait for your light

-

To shine my path

Take me a place

Where I will be

-

One day

-
