The hidden magic of a frosty night

**********

From Jack’s first bite

Twinkling like stardust in morning’s first light

Winter nibbles every night

Catching toes and nipping noses

Misty mornings and foggy nights

We build fires under starlight

And set the sky alight with colours bright

Tell stories of magic and wonder

Take blanket-covered slumbers

Dream of love and romance

Tasty treats and cosy nights

Warm cuddles under string lights

Festive songs and merry dances

Secret kisses and stolen glances

First dates and second chances

Icy streets and snow-covered houses

Cold hands and hot mugs

A holiday full of love

Laughter, frolics, and jigs

Roasted chestnuts, cinnamon, and figs

Dark nights, naughty or nice

It all starts with one frost-covered night

*********
