On The Beach
Happy my way, I sprawl and grin
salt on my lips, warm on my skin
no shoes, no shame, just sand and song
the world can wait, I’m where I belong
A tilt of head, a stretch of toes
waves applaud as the warm wind blows
ice cream drips and laughter spills
from buckets, radios, gulls on hills
No clock, no cause to rush or run
just the hush and roar of a midday sun
skin browned golden, soul set free
sunbathing by the open sea
This is joy, not bought or planned
not filtered through another’s hand
just me, just now, just salty air
alive, content, beyond all care

Nice, and I love the image, especially the flower placement- so respectful 😊😊.

Lol so good
This made me so happy! I love the beach, but sadly we're heading into winter here in Australia, so no beach for a while.
