And the moment became an unforgettable memory.

It was a rainy day in Paris when Isabelle was sleeping.

Her face lightly resting against the pillow brought memories of a painting I’d seen before.

Her beauty was radiant; her skin, immaculate. She was a work of art in all its glorious essence.

I’d never seen such peace and beauty together on a face.

Barely awakened, all I could do was write about her.

The words flowed as easily as if pouring out of a fountain.

The magic of the moment revealed itself in all its awesomeness.

If there’s a way to describe what inspiration is, that is it.

Did I fall in love with her beauty that morning?

Or was it the utter perfection of the moment?

Maybe a cold and rainy morning in Paris helped...

but one thing is true.

Some moments are timeless and will remain that way

for the rest of our lives.
