Omer 28 - Vibrato

malchut of netzach

By Chaia LeviPublished 2 months ago Updated about a month ago 1 min read

In tracheal collapse, the preview of the life beyond

tugs at the peripheries of the fear

and counterbalancing calm.

But it’s not yet time.

In larynxial failure, the past and its failed futures

suffocates in its pressured proximity.

But it’s as time goes.

Still, I breathe

— tired, uncertain, rattling.

Still, I speak

— brittle, thin, rasping.

So hold me close,

as collagen and cartilage break down,

as soundwave and heartbeat

skip and fail;

hold me close

as it all falls down.
