has loved me back so fiercely,

Oh, that's harsh. I feel that. It's one thing to outlive those people that have loved You fiercely as You loved them, it's another for them to just leave out of Your life. More often than not we're always thinking about what we did wrong. Yet, the truth is, in most scenarios there was nothing we could do to keep them loving us as we wanted to love them. Reminds me of the song, "Got Used to Somebody to Love Me."

  • While those you've never noticed, continue to linger just hoping for the grace of a single glance.

  • Unfortunately, that's how the world works. It's the bitter truth. Sending you lots of love and hugs 🥺❤️

Succinct but sorrowful. Great picture too.

Very poignant! Fierceness is intense but often fizzles until it forgets. Beautifully written haiku, Natasha!
