Oh to seek, oh to find, oh to gain, the constant strain.

The constant going, that constant stride,

A place to where the heart would then confide,

The searching here, the searching there,

Of what would then repair,

The strain, the strife, the continued grief,

With hope deferred, and no relief,

To search, to seek, all that is in mind,

Unsatisfied, once one, would find,

The storms that come, the storms that go,

We surely reap from what we sow,

The spreading here, the spreading there,

Constant going, everywhere,

Casting cares upon this thing,

Hoping then, that it would bring,

Moth to flutter, webs to decay,

Then disheartened, sure dismay,

There are many things within this place,

Where I could seek, despite such grace,

For there are many things I could then accrue,

But, in fact, I would rather have you.
