Oh Plato, enough! Keep your philosophy with you,
Take your nest of thought and leave the throne of your fame.
Your castles built on clouds of theory,
Are cold and distant, far from the warmth of life.
You chase ideals in perfect forms,
But miss the heartbeat of the living soul.
Your shadows on the cave walls may impress the wise,
But I seek the sun, the dust, the wounds, the laughter.
Philosophy’s cage cannot hold the restless heart,
Nor bind the soul that dances with the wind.
Leave your lofty heights to the silent books,
Come down to earth where love and pain reside.
For life is not a perfect shape or a flawless idea,
But a wild river flowing beyond your maps and rules.
Oh Plato, enough! Keep your philosophy with you,
Let me live free, with my questions and my tears.
