Oh moon,
Oh dear moon,
It has been a while,
Since I have talked to you,
To your shining figure.
Oh moon,
Oh dear moon,
I know,
That I talked with you just last night,
But the hours tend to stretch,
When your life is turned upside down.
Oh moon,
Oh dear moon,
My life was finally going well,
My future was bright,
And stress was behind me.
Oh moon,
Oh dear moon,
Out of nowhere,
The stress is back,
I am hurt again,
And even worse,
I cannot deny it.
Oh moon,
Oh dear moon,
I know,
That troubles are a part of life,
They are one of the few true constants,
And as much as it pains me right now,
I will overcome this.
Oh moon,
Oh dear moon,
Even though you can never reply,
I take comfort in your beauty,
Because you are another constant in life,
Even when I cannot see you.
Oh moon,
Oh dear moon.

I love the moon! Beautiful words on Halloween Eve
The moon is as constant as the troubles in our life. So poignant yet so beautifully written. Loved your poem!
This is such a soothing and heartfelt piece. I love the honesty and vulnerability in your words.
