Of Love and War
Daunted
I spill an ocean
of tears as I sink, Defeat
rears its ugly head.

Then I hear Spirit.
“ Stay the course and keep the faith,
I can do all things.”

Even soldiers need
Reminding of His presence
on the battlefield.
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”
