Of Course I Still Love You
Having love for the unresolved

Violets and sapphires
My crystal clear eyes
Blues and indigo
I wished for you over and over.
And watch you slip through my hands like sand.
Cornfields and sunflower mazes
I told you I was a tricky one
Remember that I loved you first.
Remember when?
Remember when?
I stopped coming around town
Because all the waves remind me of every dream I ever had.
If you're not there with me
What good is it?
The garden you gave me died
And so did we, so did we.
There's not even a we anymore
How fucked up is that?
Now close your eyes and count to ten
For my next act I'll saw myself in half
To give a piece to you and a piece to my baby
When all is said and done
In forty years time, I'll live up way high...
I'll become a pattern living millions of miles away
She'll trace my body and tell stories about how tragic her mother truly was
While he places a shiny diamond on her finger
We break our teeth on them
October will come and I'll think I need to call dad
But no pumpkins will be carved this year
I'll spend the years end all alone.
'Cause you and him
are sadly no longer with us anymore....
