Ode to the Little Things

A Celebration of Simple Joys

Sunlight paints the windowsill,

Warm and golden, makes my heart fill.

Little robin sings a tune,

Happiest melody beneath the moon.

Smiling faces on the street,

Friendly hellos, oh so sweet.

Raindrops dance on thirsty ground,

Making happy puddles all around.

Fluffy clouds like cotton balls,

Drifting by, so tall and small.

Puppy wags his tail with glee,

Purest joy, plain as can be.

Sharing laughter with a friend,

Warmth that knows no end.

Starry sky, a blanket vast,

Wonders whispered, meant to last.

Life's a tapestry, grand and wide,

But happiness in small things hide.

Open eyes, and open heart,

Simple joys play their gentle part.
