A blank page

May look empty

Like nothing at all

But

To someone who knows

To someone who understands

It is full

Full of potential

Full of stories

Waiting to be told

Full of adventures

Waiting to be started

Full of characters

Waiting to come to life

With lives

Waiting to be started

Full of truths

Waiting to come to light

With obstacles

Waiting to be overcome

Full of mysteries

Waiting to be uncovered

Good times, bad times

Relationships, births, deaths

Laughter, sadness, anger, and grief

Horrors, battles, conquests

Twists, turns, and lessons to be learned

Love, hate, loyalty and betrayal

Just like life

In the beginning

All we are

is a blank page

    I love this 🩷

  • One might even say that the great challenge of life is learning to write on our own pages in our own words. Are we not born a journal in which society scribbles and scrawls, trying to tell our story for us, triangulate us into a role? The day we take possession of our self, our own book, and write the words we intend to write on the pages of our heart, this is the day we become... free. Love this insightful poem of yours! Subscription reciprocated!

  • Yesssss! There's just so much potential! I loved it! Oh no, I've not been giving you these! 🍩🥐 There you go!

Oooo, love this one! Wonderful work ✍️

  • Some of us remain that way our entire lives. A tabula rosa just waiting for something to happen, never once realizing that we are the makers of our own destiny & plot devices.
