Believe it or not, I'm actually Team Seagull here. My first "modern" novel manuscript (when I had some semblance of what I was doing) was Guardians of Ga'Hoole meets seagulls, so I am completely biased. But even I will admit there's a huge difference between wild gulls and the semi-domesticated ones that make their living off raiding garbage cans and beach coolers.
Haha. They will!
Haha!! Yes they will! Fun haiku with a real warning!
How true this is but it is kind of nice too when you are not really liking what you have at the time. At least it won't go to waste. Good work.
Prowl implies sneaky to me - these guys are brazen!
Hahahahahahaha I've seen so many videos of them doing that!
Your food, they'll snatch it is a great opener, Paul! Seagulls are such bloody bullies!
Oh!! Those little bigger certainly are fitting for this challenge! Nicely done, Paul!
Ha! Love this. I went to journo school in Hastings and had the window open. Seagull swooped in and stole my toast! Your poem brought back happy (?!) memories! Great stuff Paul.
Hahah, I love these humorous twists you are doing for the challenge! Refreshing buddy!! 😄👍
Ha ha! I remember when one nicked my husband’s whole ice cream in St Ives 😂 He swore at it and it came back later and sh** all over him (he’s convinced to this day that it was the same one😂)
Damn nuisance I refused to commemorate! 🚫
They are a greedy lot! Cool haiku for the morning here, Paul.
