You are much more than just red and blue together, you know!
You were courted by kings and queens and respect you do bestow.
You show up in the heavens and show off your magnificence,
Deep regard and deference is your total innocuous inference.
Sunsets, sunrises, and mountain-tops robe themselves in your hues,
Casting all cares away and bringing hope through fleeting views.
You are known alongside passion and pressed from grapes for wines,
Regal and Intoxicate unite as one and stir souls within your confines.
Only gold can stand to match your beauty or your station,
Although red often vies for attention without prudent hesitation.
You are more, so much more than just red and blue together...
You stand alone so proud, and yet so humble...no need ever for a tether.
