Ode to My Blanket

She’s as fluffy as the fur of a bunny

soft, smooth, and soothing.

She’s so beautiful like the dazzling sunset

She lights up my bedroom.

With her, I’m safe and warm

On a long wet day, on a sad lonely night,

I cling unto her like no other

My Blanket, my comfort

When I fall asleep,

I wake up realizing she’s not with me

I look for her, I find her

I dream sweet dreams because she’s with me

She’s with me so I’m safe

She’s my last memory of Mama

So priceless and beautiful

In a million years, I will cherish

My one true companion.
