The oceans of the Earth are enormous water pools,
While the oceans of the sky are shrouds of water molecules.
The Earth has the seas, each held within an earthen cavity,
And the sky has the clouds, all held within a field of gravity.
The clouds roll in waves, freely in the wind flowing,
And reflect the sun’s rays as a soft diffused glowing,
While a sea rolls in waves until it meets the coast and crashes,
And reflects the sun’s rays in endless glittering sharp flashes.
The seas send water to the clouds by means of evaporation,
And the clouds send water to the seas by means of precipitation;
Sky the father and Earth the mother,
Passing the oceans between one another.
