Oceans

Excerpt from my Poetry Book “Because She Deserves Healing”

If I was to become rain

would you stay to soak me In

Would you let the droplet immerse your skin

Would you stay for a while

Until I’m dry,

Evaporated in your mind

Can you let me be rain

Because sometimes I fall so softly

And arrive un-announced

And just like the sky, I go from dark too light

Can you let me be a woman?

Allow me too overflow

To show you what it means to swim,

To dive,

To be one

In my oceans.
