Obesity

Is there a way out

By Marie381Uk Published about a year ago Updated about a year ago 1 min read
Obesity is a horrible burden

In shadows deep, where silence sighs,

A heavy heart beneath the skies.

The cruel embrace of flesh unbound,

whispers harsh, the judgments sound.

The mirror's gaze, a haunting sight,

Dreams wither in the harshest light.

Each step a burden, hope confined,

In aching joints, the ties that bind.

Tears fall like rain upon the skin,

A silent storm that rages within.

whispered shame, a sidelong glance,

A life of pain, a hopeless dance.

In every bite, the greedy call,

A fleeting joy before the fall.

Trapped by cravings, endless fights

A stolen day, a stolen night.

No solace found in fleeting dreams,

laughter fades with silence screams.

The weight of worlds upon the soul,

A heavy heart that takes its toll.

Yet in the dark, a flicker glows,

In strength now, that softly grows.

For in the shadows, truth may lie,

A chance to rise, to touch the sky.

Yet at the end a a promise is a fail

another dream, Again set sail

Trapped I feel there is no way out

This is what Obesity’s all about
