Not cold, not dark, not heartless, not an abyss. Night

Yearns to place a crown of stars on your head and wrap you in his velvet

Cloak. Monsters may hide in his shadows, but Night was crafted before

The Darkness invaded our world. Since then, the Moon hovers

Over the world, a guardian to night's dreamers, lovers, lost boys and girls.

Pulling me close, Night tells tales of magic, shows me magnificent worlds.

Hearing his stories, seeing these places, I am desperate to stay here.

I see more in the dark. I am more in the dark. I am lorn in the blinding

Light of day; drowning in the spotlight, an invisible star.

I eagerly await for the time when I can roam free and unafraid

As the moon rises and the stars awake and the world can see me, shining.
