I am now just numb

at the dumb senseless executions of our unarmed black men.

I have become just NUMB at the persecution of the black lives matters movement that seems to be the joke of the day

as if to say, we have no reason to be mad,

and further saddened

that we cannot turn on the news

just to pursue at the daily funnies of the day.

It now seems like the joke is on us.

My mental hands are raised high but I feel a bullet has been shot on the inside of my soul for my brothers and sisters that have been lost in the street, is this the sign of the times?

The city of Chicago has had more murders this year than LA and New York combined

I feel defeated and

emotionally mistreated by those who are supposed to protect and serve,

the nerve of us to protest in jest

to being shot down like dogs in the street, oh I forgot, we are not supposed to be even human. With the air of blue righteousness looming over and into to our psyche, why keep the peace?

This all started with Rodney King, I too Sing, America, Let me count the 50 ways,

The days are coming back too familiar but now they just kill ya

We must protest in the streets to get justice for those who thought they were fighting it, by themselves.

How am I supposed to feel better

when I heard those shameless words from the propeller

of the helicopter to say “taze that thing”, he looks like a big bad man with his hands raise for over 40 paces that ultimately led to his doom,

so now I scream foul, the National Bar should now be on speed dial.

that this society has tried to appease his ordained right to the truth and acceptable justice.

This cannot and will not be tolerated; we are tired of you prorating our lives for your “take out the blacks cause”, by any means necessary.

There seems to be no ramifications to these deadly situations,

from what I see there are only celebrations on administrative leave with pay.

Today, the Mothers of the Movement mourn all over again for their sisters have who joined their club which even they themselves don’t even want to be a member of.

Terrence Crutcher was shot and less that 24 hours so was Keith Lamont Scott, I suppose I will have to remind myself, when my car stalls, not to call the cops.

Korryn Gaines, Philando Castile, Jordan Davis, Travon Martin, Michael Brown, Sandra Bland, Eric Garner, Freddie Gray, I hope and pray the list doesn’t get any longer and never with the name of my son, the sad thing about it is, I know I have forgotten some.
