Happiness is in the little things that we share, though we often cannot notice or accredit them in the busyness of life.

Take some time to embrace little nuggets of joy around you.

In the quiet hum of dawn

Coffee’s warmth, in porcelain

Steam curling, a gentle kiss

Life’s embrace, loving bliss.

The sun’s light travels through the screen,

Pure gold dances on kitchen beams,

Each new ray tiny spark

Ribbons of light around my heart.

The rustle of leaves, a gentle hum,

A playful song on Nature's harp,

Rain's sweet touch on cobblestones-

The fleeting touch of life in motion.

A passing smile, a lighthouse's beam

Guides wayward ships through dense fog

Its light on rough seas, ever gleams

Shines a path through dinghy smog

Tiny moments, trite and small

Together weave Joy’s gown,

But a patchwork gown one owns

But dress that’s by self always sown.
